Shaun Guilcher co-founded Renegade Electric in 2020, bringing over 30 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. His background spans residential, commercial, and industrial projects, with a strong focus on large-scale multi-family residential developments.

Shaun has led teams ranging from small crews to workforces of more than 600 employees. Known for being approachable, honest, and trustworthy, he believes a company’s success is built on the dedication of its people and leads accordingly.

Over the past 21 years, Shaun has overseen the construction of more than 20,000 condominium units across Calgary and the surrounding area. Respected as a straight shooter, he builds lasting client relationships through accountability, high standards, and pride in quality workmanship.

Murray Grant, is a master electrician with 25 years of experience in electrical construction, many of those years were spent completing some of Calgary’s largest multifamily projects for some of the cities most renown builders. He, with his business partner formed Renegade because they believe that the electrical contracting business can be different, it is his belief that there should be a new type of Electrical Contractor. One that could embrace the benefits of the technology around us for all its added efficiency’s but that the core of the business be built on trusted relationships with valued trade partners and team members. It is his belief that Renegade Electric is a people company and that having high quality trusted people are the key to long term success.

It is the embracement of both the future for its technological advancements and the past for its quality of workmanship and integrity that have led to the company’s success.
